Having been closed for several
weeks for a much needed major refurbishment to make The George feel more user friendly for everyone last year in 2011. We
are pleased to be offering our new beauty treatments for 2012 meaning there has never been a better time to visit The George.
Ladies come and have a relaxing treatment with us before meeting friends for lunch, gentlemen where else can you pick
up a gift voucher for a loved one whilst enjoying one of our fine Palmers Ales at the same time! Under our family
ownership you can look forward to receiving a very warm welcome from Nikki, John, Carol and our team.
In the restaurant our menu which changes seasonally consists of locally sourced home cooked
classic pub favourites accompanied by our daily changing specials board which features all the fresh fish dishes you would
expect from a harbourside venue, for meat lovers veal chops and matured steaks not to mention our famous
full rack of home cooked BBQ ribs. The latest addition to our menu is our calorie counted lighter option section. The
new look lounge bar is now a tasteful & relaxing place to enjoy a drink with friends, have a bite to eat or sample one
of our coffees made from freshly ground Italian Lavazza coffee beans.

WEST BAY
The George is located in West Bay, just 1.5
miles South of the historic market town of Bridport. West Bay forms part of the Jurassic Coast
World Heritage Site ,and is a wonderful seaside location for family holidays with something to do for everyone be it beautiful
coastal walks, a fishing trip, scuba diving, paragliding, golfing or river boating. There is a nearby swimming pool with water
slides, and in the summer holiday weeks a funfair is resident in West Bay.
